(Note: CMRs should send an artwork transmittal for the companion directory, but they do not need to attach original art. Please include a note on the artwork transmittal that states “USE ART ON FILE.”)
Important Information Related to SRLs:
SRLs are automatically copied into the companion directory from the core directory. If an SRL appears in the core directory, it will also appear in the companion directory. It is not necessary for CMRs to place SRLs on the companion order. This applies to all companion directories.
Important Information Related to Display Advertising for
Since the CMRs will be unable to transmit orders for the San Fernando Valley Companion directory until the directory resides in Elite, Idearc Media will accept faxed orders for display advertising. The date the order is faxed will serve as the Sales Date for placement purposes.
The CMR must follow up with a transmitted order as soon as the directory is available in Rates & Data. The CMR must transmit the order information corresponding to the faxed order within one week of the directory being available in Rates & Data. Please include an advice line under each item that states “MAINTAIN SALES DATE ON FAXED ORDER DATED MM/DD/YYYY. If an order is not transmitted within this time frame, the transmission Trans Date will serve as the Sales Date.
