Further to the eLinc sent on March 15, 2007, please be advised as follows:

The new Calgary Companion directory is a lighter and more compact version
of the current Calgary Yellow Pages directory #85100.   Both directories
share the same national close of JUNE 8, 2007 and issue date of October
2007.  Directory information is available in YPA's rates and data.

Every advertiser in the Calgary core directory #85100 is entitled to a free
listing in the Companion directory #105781.     NOTE: In order for National
clients to receive their free SRL in this directory, the CMR must include
the SRL on a Calgary Companion directory order.    Please refer to the
Policies and Procedures document for more information, which can be found
on the CMR Centre - see location details below.

Specialty/Premium Products - critical date:

April 13, 2007 - Last day for advertisers who currently have a
Specialty/Premium product in the Calgary core Yellow Pages #85100 to submit
a contract for the same Specialty product in the Companion directory.
After this date, all unsold Specialty products will be available to
everyone.  Please contact your Regional Sales Manager if you have first
right of refusal due to your client's Specialty Product on the Calgary core
Yellow Pages, or if your client is interested in a Specialty product with
the new Calgary Companion.

Directory Information:
1.  Scope:  Calgary
2.  Issue date:  October
3.  Format:  shrunken format, smaller size (7 1/16 x 8 5/8)
Directory will be shrunk by 20% at printing time.  CMRs are to provide
another copy of the artwork submitted for the Calgary core Yellow Pages
#85100 with the national order for the Calgary Companion.  Do not adjust or
resize.  CMRs must advise their clients to ensure they understand that
their ad will be reduced by 20%.

Directory Features:
1.  Composition:  Classified pages (Yellow); front of book (maps and other
community info)
2.  Headings:  All headings - same as core Calgary Yellow Pages
3.  Ad Placement:  Same as other Pubco. 671 directories - first size, then
rate card value of the ad; tie breaker: spend in heading in Companion
directory (independent from core), then seniority (when order is received),
then alphabetical sequence.
4.  Advertisers Rules:
(A) all business lines get a free listing;
(B) advertiser must maintain spend (NI =/> PI) in core Calgary Yellow Pages
in order to advertise in the Calgary Companion;
(C) advertiser can choose which item to be "reproduced" from the core to
the Companion - same UDAC, same heading, no changes to the ad (artwork for
Companion book will be a duplicate of the artwork for the core Calgary
Yellow Pages).
4.  Products available:  Listings, Trade items, Informationals (HSs),
Display ads, Specialty products
5.  Products not available:  Coupons, Menu items, DirectoryPlus,
YellowPages.ca

Yellow Pages Association   Order Processing & Procedures Course
