EASY Pages/0954 YPA Membership Status

Effective January 2007 Rates and Data

EASY Pages (0954/EAS) YPA membership has been terminated, however, membership will be reinstated.

In April of 2006, three Easy Pages directories were sold to a new company – The Lehigh Valley Easy Pages.  While the new publisher was in the process of becoming a YPA member, the current Easy Pages (0954/EAS) membership was terminated.  The Easy Pages the new Lehigh Valley Easy Pages and National Solutions, are currently working with YPA to reinstate the directories on ELITE, however, because YPA does not permit directory codes to be reinstated, new directory codes will be assigned.  Therefore, when directory codes become available, ALL orders must be established under the new directory codes before any changes/deletes can be made to the orders.

**Upon resolution of this issue these directories will appear under Lehigh Valley Easy Pages, the new owner for these directories, with their newly assigned pub code.

Once we receive new directory codes from YPA an ELINC will immediately be sent with all of the details.  In addition, each CMR with an order will be contacted to ensure all orders are re-established. 

For directories that closed/rolled in IRIS prior to data loss:

For invoicing purposes, books that have closed or rolled in IRIS but have not yet been invoiced will be invoiced under the OLD directory codes.   Because the directories closed prior to the data loss, our invoicing system was unaffected and the old numbers can be used. 

CMR Action Needed

As soon as the directories become live on ELITE, CMRs will need to establish all orders under new directory codes, before any changes can be made, INCLUDING DELETES.  This is the only way to distinguish between who did not want advertising and who was unaware of the Termination. Due to the amount of advertising in these directories and the publisher’s desire to print a complete and accurate directory, any order not inserted under the new directory code will print as it stood at the time of the data loss, December 31,2006, and the CMR will be invoiced for the advertising.

Additional questions which have been raised or that may be of concern:

1. When will the new directory numbers be available on Rates & Data?
   We are striving to have all the information uploaded for the February version of Rates & Data.  This will be dependant upon how quickly they are reinstated.  As soon as the data is uploaded in ELITE you will need to begin migrating orders from the old directory number onto the new one by sending an “I” order or a “V” trans.

2. Will display advertising seniority be maintained from the old directory number to the new one?
   Yes.  Seniority dates are not an issue since they are maintained and stored in the publisher production system.  The data loss affected orders on ELITE, not the records in the publisher system.

3. Will I have to resend artwork?
   Yes and no.  If you are reusing art from last year’s issue and your system will allow you to key the same Art ID, you do not need to resend artwork.  If you want to use the same art as last year but must assign a new art ID, then you will need to submit a new art ID, new art, and a new artwork transmittal.   Please send new art by email, fax, or mail to:

4. Will closed directories still publish and if so, what directory number will they publish with?
   Yes, closed directories will publish.  Directories that have not yet published will print with both the old and new directory numbers.

5. Will the version numbers be the same?
   Yes. Version numbers are unaffected by the data loss.  The versions appearing under the new directory codes will be consistent with the previous directory codes.

6. Will the rates be changing for these directories?
   Directories currently in rate hold:  Will not change

Directories NOT in rate hold:  Subject to change until rate hold
